HansVonGuerra Without doubt this one of the most intense metal records so far in 2017. Atmospheric dissonance and grim vocals reminding to the heydeys of Dodheimsgard. Very dynamic, powerful and great icekahld production. You won't regret buying this brilliant record. Favorite track: Prisoner Of Your Own Prison.

about

Inverted cross panel digipak (paper inside out) with black and silver print. Limited to 1000 pieces.

NO FERTILE GROUND FOR SEEDS
Fertile ground is a constantly regenerating habitat, a source of energy and the foundation for the emergence of organisms of all kind. It is in active exchange with all life surrounding it and receives continuous restructuring. With their debutalbum ’No Fertile Ground For Seeds‘, KÂHLD question the idea of life capable of regeneration with regards to humanity and its way of living. Current topics as well as issues of the past, driven by self-destruction and social deficiencies, being nothing more than actions of self-serving hypocrits, are the foundation for this.

’No Fertile Ground For Seeds‘ is the combination of rawness, atmosphere and vehemence and holder of pieces of music that make room for hope (e.g. ’The Step Outside‘) as well as dragging you into the abyss to crush any small blink of salvation, ending up in total desolation. The combination of improvised parts and intentional arrangement was the group’s method of choice to turn these topics into a piece of composition. Rakshasa states: ’With our compositions we deliberately refer to elements of the past while merging them with influences of our present everyday existence‘. Jerndød describes the album as ’a critical examination of social abysms and the human compulsion for annhilation. It is the realisation that one has to swim against the tide to be truly free in spirit‘.
